The Nexus Between Tourism and Migration: Case of Didim

This research aims to reveal the reasons for tourism-based migration Didim. To achieve this, in-depth interviews were conducted collect data between July 14 - August 21, 2017 / January 10 24, 2018 March 02 16, 2018, with 42 participants. Participants determined by criterion sampling. The subjected thematic analysis through MAXQDA, and five main themes determined. As a result of analyses, causes tourism-related migrations found be categories which are related economic, social, natural environmental, political, legal regulations regarding foreigners. sub-categories depending on these economical including development tourism industry, building trade, entrepreneurship-investment-employment opportunities, low-cost housing, land low living costs; social causes, migrants, escape from disorder, liberal environment, ties friends family. revealed that most significant reason in Didim is lifestyle have taken place after foreigners domestic accordingly.
